I’ve always loved adventures. Hiking in the woods with my Grandpa. Traversing mountain trails with my family on vacation. Going to national parks. Traveling to new countries. Exploring small towns. Driving back roads. The list goes on and on…
I’ve also been writing for a really long time. When I was a kid I wrote and illustrated my own books for years. There’s still a big box of them somewhere at my parent’s house.
After graduating with a marketing degree from Baylor University, I took a unique path towards my professional writing career. I worked in the music business, in sales, at an outdoor adventure camp, in ministry, and in finance. These varied experiences have influenced my writing, helping me understand the perspective and goals of businesses from several angles—and the multifaceted needs of their customers.
Today I write full-time as a Nashville-based freelance copywriter, creating compelling content for a variety of industries and organizations across the country. I find great joy in sharing the stories of brands and helping them make an impact on their current and future customers. It’s a different kind of adventure.
